provides comprehensive Circuit Breaker Testing services as part of our Electrical Testing and Maintenance services. We perform Circuit Breaker Testing for a variety of facilities including industrial plants, large commercial facilities, and power generation stations. We are available 24 hours a day for emergency response situations.
Circuit Breaker Testing Overview
SES services a variety of circuit breakers including low, medium, and high voltage breakers. Some breakers are tested via primary current injection (current output of 10x frame size for instantaneous) .Others such as vacuum circuit breakers require high potential withstand tests, vacuum bottle integrity, and or timing of breaker contacts opening and closing. All circuit breakers are maintained per manufacturer recommendations including lubrication and inspection. Also, all circuit breakers undergo contact resistance and insulation resistance tests. Additional tests may include secondary current injection which is a test of the circuit breaker's trip unit and is not as encompassing as the primary injection current method.
